Well... This is the final version of The Friend-Ship for the time being. Due to the escalating global situation that we all find ourselves in, couch co-op play for most gamers has been severely limited. As such, I do not think that perusing the development of this game would be a fruitful endeavor for myself or any artist involved in the project.  There may be a time once the pandemic is over that work and resume to make a full version of this game. But for now, I think it would be a wise pursuit to halt production on a game that a majority of people won't have access to. Granted there is currently single player mode and the possibility of an online co-op mode, but I think those  would hinder the intended co-op experience. 

Overall, it It's been a great experience working on this game and finally being able to point out, "Hey, that's my game!" I cannot express how thankful I am to all of the artists and visionaries past and present that took time out of their busy schedule over the past two years. Hopefully, sometime in the future, people will feel safe coming over to friends houses. When that day comes, development on this game can resume once again.
